Wenatchee Valley Native Plant Stewardship Program

WNPS Native Plant Stewardship Training

Conserving and Restoring Shrub-steppe Habitat  
- SPRING 2017

WNPS is pleased to team with the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, Chelan County Weed Board and other local organizations to present this 15-hour training focused on one of Washington's most threatened ecosystems. 

Thursday, April 20 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm *
Saturday, April 22 - Field Trip -
     Shrub-steppe habitats in and around Wenatchee
Tuesday, April 25 -   6:00pm-8:00pm **
Thursday, April 27 -  6:00pm-8:00pm **
Thursday, May 4 -    6:00pm-8:00pm *

* Meet at the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, 18 North Wenatchee Ave., Wenatchee
** Meeting place to be announced (in downtown Wenatchee)

and East Cascades, Fall 2016

The Cascadia Conservation District,   
Chelan-Douglas Land-Trust, and other local conservation organizations will assist with the training and have many projects that need stewards' help.  This program is part of the WNPS Native Plant Stewardship Program.  Participants who complete this training will earn credit towards recognition as a WNPS Native Plant Steward.
